Inspiration (2019-present)
When the Covid pandemic hit in 2020, my creative juices froze solid. I was stuck. Stuck at home. Stuck inside. Stuck for ideas. Stuck sucked. I needed inspiration. The ancient Greeks understood. Long ago, they imagined nine female muses to help creative spirits get unstuck. I decided to follow their lead and launched a series of portraits of the ancient Muses. As in some of my multimedia work, I combine real objects and intrepid models in elaborate set-ups. Then I let PhotoShop in to play, layering additional objects, texts, flowers, and stars.
