I’m thrilled to announce that my photograph on silk, “Release,” has been given the Best Photography Award in the Piccolo Spoleto Juried Art Exhibition at the City Gallery in Charleston. Many thanks to juror Marie Carledous for this honor.

A solo show featuring over thirty of my silk constructions will be on view at the Public Works Arts Center in Summerville, SC, from June 16-July 30. Join us for the opening (and arts walk) on the 16th!

Eight of my non-book collages will be included in the small group exhibition, Cover-to-Cover at Gallery 26, 19 Vedude Range, from June 17-September 20th.

My photo objecxt, Mother, Posing, was selected by Aline Smithson for the exhibition, “Conversations from the Archive,’ on view at the Southeast Center for Photography, Greenville, SC, April 1-30. So honored to be included!

My photo object, Beneath the Surface, was chosen by Michael Mansfield, President of Maine Media and former Smithsonian curator to be included in a magazine being published by Maine Media of student work done during the pandemic. This is the inaugural issue of a magazine that will feature student work from workshops.

Hooray! My photograph/object, After Apple Picking, was selected by juror Doug Beasley for inclusion in “Black, White & Monochrome,” a juried exhibition at the Southeast Center for Photography in Greenville, SC, February 4 - 26, 2022.

I’m thrilled to be included in another exhibition at the Vendue Hotel’s Gallery 26! “Unravelled Recollections” threads memories through the assembled and sewn. I am honored to have seven of my silk photo pieces on view from Nov. 19, 2021 - February 7th, 2022. Located at 26 Vendue Range, Charleston, SC. (Update: I sold eight pieces from the show, including a replacement for a piece that was sold directly from the exhibition. Yay!)

Buongiorno! Two of my photographs from Working Stone, (Working Stone 1 and 2) will be on view in the exhibition, Environmental Alterations, at the Millepiani Gallery in Rome between August 25 - September 2, 2021.

Yippee! My digital collage, The Falconer and Her Parents, from my new series Imagined Identities, was selected for inclusion in the Piccolo Spoleto Juried Exhibition at City Gallery in Charleston. It will be on view May 28-June 13, 2021. My thanks to juror Dontre Major for choosing my work.

Svala is going to China! Ten photographs from Svala’s Saga will be exhibited at the 2021 Pingyao International Photography Festival in mid-September. How cool is that?
